Dunia dan sejarah sudah terlanjur mengenal nama Alexander Graham Bell sebagai penemu telepon yang pertama. Padahal telepon lebih dulu dipublikasikan oleh Antonio Meucci pada tahun 1854. Artinya, dua puluh dua tahun lebih awal sebelum kemunculan Graham Bell. Penemuan Antonio Meucci yang disebutnya sebagai “telegrafo parlante” atau teletrofono tersebut pada tahun 1860 sudah dipublikasikan oleh L’Eco d “Italia”. Tetapi mengapa justru Alexander Graham Bell yang kemudian dikenal sebagai penemu telepon ?
